Although I do admit that I'm much more tuned into the fact that if I make a bad decision on the bike it will definitely hurt me. The comfort of a car does lull me a tiny bit. Radio, heater, a once-in-a-while cup of coffee, are distractions no matter how you look at it.

So I guess I have to say that I'm more tuned in on a bike.

Hopefully we aren't safer on a bike only because we can't do as much damage to others with a bike as with a car!

Take care,
DanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20666162.post-1160110327062624582006-10-05T21:52:00.000-07:002006-10-05T21:52:00.000-07:00I'm with you on the barge thing, having owned two ...I'm with you on the barge thing, having owned two Buick Centuries. The last one, I kept through two wives, and rarely drove it because I had a bike. It's a wonder all four corners were'nt bashed-in, as my second wife has depth-perception problems. I dunno about you, but I drive differently than I ride. I'm much safer as a rider.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20666162.post-1160107784985422202006-10-05T21:09:00.000-07:002006-10-05T21:09:00.000-07:00Steve,I resent the "Aging" part! Your description of conning her into a ride instead of painting made me wonder if you were thinking clearly man giving up your devious secrets. I see in this post you are using your head- sort of. *grin*

Scooters are sweet to get around town in. If work forces you to drive a big vehicle all the time you might have to change the name of the blog to "Musings of a Big Aging Buzzard"!

steveSteve Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04540977884513559091noreply@blogger.com
