They ride with the same casual attitude they have in a car. We have to think differently on a bike. Reminders are in order.

Yes, the cups say "Slurpee" but the signs and machines say "Squishie".irondadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821323482397075170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20666162.post-13986131242605956682007-08-04T20:41:00.000-07:002007-08-04T20:41:00.000-07:00Really good, solid info here. Absolutely blinding is the best way to describe it. I usually do a side street zig-zag to stay off the main drag so as not to be in the heavier traffic. But I really know what you are talking about here.

Are they calling the Slurpies "Squishies" yet?

Have fun,
BillBill Sommershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13830209488539036338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20666162.post-56395999849561437492007-08-04T11:53:00.000-07:002007-08-04T11:53:00.000-07:00Balisada,Sorry to say he was pretty defensive. On top of that, I think they never consider how their actions affect others.
Humidity was rising. Marine air was pushing clouds into the valley. We actually had a little drizzle the next morning.

Dan,
I could see your point. Are you saying that every time someone makes something idiot proof, someone comes up with a better idiot?

R.G.,
You're right. That's the one variable we have the least control over. I know it seems obvious to most of us that a hand signal is a way to indicate turning, however the totally "clueless" mentality of drivers of late can interpret it in ways nearly unimaginable.

--DanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20666162.post-66152880182596769852007-08-03T09:45:00.000-07:002007-08-03T09:45:00.000-07:00An old Volkswagon, in reasonableshape, a rarity to...An old Volkswagon, in reasonable
shape, a rarity to be kind.
