Love the little bikes warming up on the course...takes me back to the fun and stress of those days.
All the riders look so serious. (Do we all look that serious? Prolly so.)
Chocolate cake! Talk about anticipation!!
The coffee would go nicely with the cake thank you. Black is fine.
Rocking chair guy: He seems so alone. I wonder what's the story? .
Carnival Ride: That's not anticipation, that's fear.
Ryan: Cute as always, Now put down that camera and shovel in some more of the good stuff! Not quite sure what he is anticipating, but it doesn't look like chocolate.
Very nice photo series. I'm anticipating the next batch...and the chocolate cake :)
Great photos Dan! With the first photo, I'm not sure whether it's anticipation, or indecision on when to grab the free meal. One thing for sure, it's not a look of devotion!
To give you some help, a pistol can be dangerous depending upon who is handling same and if the pistol is pointed at a target.
A camera is also dangerous as it may record a scene not appreciated by others, and we assume the photographer could in trouble because you may have taken a photgraph "of my "darling sweet daughter" without permission.
I tend to be wary of who and what my cameras record images of.
I just wanted to find some sort of tenuous commonality to justify posting some various photos!
The rocking chair guy is a photo I took in Hartford, Connecticut last November. He is looking out onto the airport tarmac anticipating going home. As was I!
The alligator is at the entry to the Rain Forest Cafe in Lacey, Washington. Real good, eh? Provide an attraction that draws a lot of tender, juicy kids, then put a big gator at the doorway!
Sorry, although I'm honored to be missed. I was actually scheduled to be Lead. The Director was kind enough to fill in for me.
You see, I'm supposed to be on vacation this week. I spent Saturday and Sunday doing site audits in Portland. In addition, I scheduled a meeting from my other work during my vacation.
For some reason Katie thinks I'm supposed to not work and spend time with her during vacation. So she thought that teaching ART all of one day was a bit over the top.
Hope you had fun. I saw some video from yesterday. Just rub it in, why don't you all!!!

Not to sure about you Dan!
Mind some are dangerous with a pisto, you're dangerous with an image recording device; enjoy the entire process.
Bryce,
So....is this a positive or negative statement? :)
Take care,
Dan
All that anticipation and then it ends abruptly..... Good job.
Great photographs too, as always.
So what are we anticipating!? :)

Hmph. I was anticipating you being an instructor at ART this weekend.
Trobairitz,
Well, they say the wanting is often better than the having!
Thank you for the compliment on the photos.
Take care,
Dan
